hat has really stood out to me is how much more
productive and focused conversations can be.
Women, in my experience, tend to stay on point
and avoid rehashing topics that have already been resolved.
For example, I’ve worked with women on my projects who
are excellent at keeping discussions moving forward. If
something has already been addressed, they don’t let it circle
back unnecessarily. I’ve noticed this trait more broadly among
women in the industry too. It seems like it’s about keeping
things ef昀椀cient and forward-looking.

This has also helped me learn that there’s value in being clear
and vocal, even when you already know the answer. Early on,
I’d keep quiet if I knew something, thinking it didn’t need to be
said. But I’ve since realized that for optics and team alignment,
it’s important to state it so everyone knows you’re on the same
page. Both of these characteristics really elevate the way teams
operate and communicate.
