When you were younger, what did you
imagine your future might look like and how
does that compare to where you are now?
When I was younger, I don’t think I had one clear picture of what my
future would look like. I did always know I wanted to make a big impact
with whatever I ended up doing.
The very 昀椀rst thing I remember wanting to be was a ballerina. I loved
how graceful they were, but also how strong. That idea of strength
mixed with purpose really stuck with me. After that, I went through many
different phases. Eventually, I found my way into studying law, and that’s
when things started to click. I loved the structure, the problem-solving,
and the way it challenged how I think.
That same way of thinking is what later drew me into programming. It felt
like a natural extension of how my brain works and how I like to learn.
Looking back, I didn’t have a single, 昀椀xed vision of where I’d end up. It
was much more about re昀氀ecting, exploring, and slowly narrowing in on
work that felt interesting, challenging, and meaningful. Where I am now
might not be what I imagined as a kid, but it does align with that early
instinct to do something that has real impact in the world.
