Critical Careers
MID CAREER
How did your career journey unfold and
what experiences have most shaped
where you are today?
I’ve had a bit of a non-linear journey, which I actually think has been really
helpful. I started out in Australia, where I went to university and studied
real estate, 昀椀nance and languages. After 昀椀nishing my degree, I joined JLL
as a graduate in 2010.
My early role was focused on tenant representation for of昀椀ce occupiers in
Melbourne. It was quite deal-driven and fast-paced, and I really enjoyed
it. But I always knew I wanted to leave Australia at some point and
explore other opportunities.
I was lucky enough to relocate with JLL to London in 2013, which was
a big moment for me both professionally and personally. From there, I
moved around the business, working in strategic consulting, transaction
management and portfolio strategy, including being seconded to
Amazon. I also experienced a data centre secondment focused on
disaster recovery and colocation which really sparked an interest in
infrastructure.

Over time, that breadth of experience really shaped how I approach
my work. I 昀椀nished my time at JLL, then moved to Meta for three years
to lead EMEA Transactions, and then joined the Google Data Center
Acquisitions team in 2025.
