The Kao Academy is a trailblazing online
learning resource designed to inspire
primary school children towards careers in
the fast-growing data centre sector.
It provides curriculum-linked lesson plans for Upper Key
Stage 2 (ages 9–11), helping pupils understand what data
centres do, how they support modern life, and the range
of future career opportunities.

helping us to build a sustainable talent pipeline within the
industry, so we can address a critical skills shortage. The
Academy’s impact is ampli昀椀ed through collaboration with
schools, MPs and local communities and partners.
