Our people
Our people are the key to our success and the success of our
customers. Kao Data is therefore fully committed to being
a caring and welcoming place for all employees, where
everyone can reach their full potential, and be themselves
without prejudice and discrimination.
Employee engagement
To ensure everyone has a voice, we operate an agile, 昀氀at
structure that empowers ownership of tasks and fosters real
responsibility. To engage employees further we harness
a number of channels to offer training, professional and
personal development, leadership mentoring, positive
mental health support and industry event attendance. We
also ensure our employees feel empowered to contribute
to the causes that matter most to them, whether this be
through external outreach or via their own career ambitions.

Kao Data ESG Report 2025-26
According to ‘The State of the European Data Centre
Market 2026’, industry training programmes have not
kept pace with the skills needed in the sector. To ensure
we can attract and retain talent, Kao Data launched its
dedicated training portal provided by LinkedIn back in
2022, so employees can continually upgrade their skills.
During 2025-26 we have been able to offer even more
targeted training, especially for HSE and ESG awareness,
via our facilities management partner CBRE. In 2025-26,
100% of our employees received mandatory HSE training
along with topic speci昀椀c ESG related training. At a wider
level we also offer several talent pipeline initiatives such as
our Critical Careers platform, and work with key vocational
and educational partners to offer training, apprenticeships,
and opportunities to more young people, whatever their
background.
