Delivering consistent safety controls
Health, safety and environmental performance (HSE)
underpins everything we do at Kao Data, ensuring we
protect the health and wellbeing of our workforce, our
customers, and that of our wider stakeholders. Through a
combination of data-led performance management, strong
strategic partnerships, workforce investment, and proactive
engagement, the organisation has not only achieved full
compliance but has driven measurable improvements
beyond industry standards.
Kao Data achieves RoSPA Gold Award
During 2025-26 we have increased investment in targeted,
role-speci昀椀c training across relevant operational risk
topics for strengthened competence and con昀椀dence.
These meaningful engagements including our ‘KLON-03
Contractor Pep Talk’ sessions, have highlighted the value
of clear communication, early planning, and collaborative
working across our workforce.

Kao Data is proud to have achieved the prestigious
RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents)
Gold Award in recognition of our outstanding health,
safety, and environmental performance in 2025. This
achievement reflects our unwavering commitment
to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable working
environment across our operations, design, construction,
and data centre facilities.
In 2025-26, Kao Data achieved 100% compliance across
all mandatory training requirements, delivered through our
Integrated Management System (IMS), and aligned with
the ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety standard.
While compliance remains a fundamental requirement, Kao
Data’s approach has gone signi昀椀cantly further by delivering
a consistent, high-performing environment across both
construction and operational data centre activities. This has
included ensuring:
• A shift from reactive to predictive safety management
• Strong alignment between strategy and operational
delivery
• Integration of digital tools to enhance performance
and visibility
• A workforce that is competent, engaged, and
accountable
