This report is Kao Data’s third ESG report
and covers the 昀椀nancial year 2025-26. It
represents the sustainability information
available to us at the time of publication.
The report has been prepared in line with the
Sustainability Accounting Standards Board
(SASB) sustainability reporting standards.
SASB is a framework for companies to
disclose material environmental, social, and
governance (ESG) issues that could affect
their 昀椀nancial performance and their ability
to create enterprise value over the long term.
The material issues covered in this report
were informed by our 2022 ESG materiality
assessment, conducted by an independent
consultancy. The materiality assessment
gathered insights from internal and external
stakeholders to determine and clarify our
material ESG issues. In 2026-27 we plan to
perform a materiality review to further guide
our strategy.
This report references the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)1
and the ‘Global Real Estate Sustainability
Benchmark’ (GRESB) Infrastructure (asset
level) standard, an investor-driven global
ESG benchmark and reporting framework
for the infrastructure sector. The report has
been formally reviewed by the Board, and
management team in collaboration with the
Kao Data Sustainability Working Group and
has been included in our investors’ portfolio
sustainability reports. The data contained in
this report has also been assured by ‘Saltire
Sustainability’, a specialist ESG assurance
provider. More information can be found on
our website and upon request.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of seventeen interlinked objectives designed to serve as a
‘shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future’. This report covers the SDGs we
can impact the most (primary SDGs), as well as secondary ones which we can still tackle but for which we have lesser impact.
