From the ground up, sustainable
performance is built into our data centres
for operational ef昀椀ciency and reduced
embodied energy. We utilise the BREEAM
assessment method for all our development,
among other standards, and aim to always
develop on brown昀椀eld sites wherever
possible.
Kao Data engages numerous industry
partners to advocate for the technologies
and solutions that maintain its ‘leading
edge’ in data centre sustainability and
technical design philosophy. We are also
heavily focused on helping level up local
communities and maximising opportunities
for women, minorities and young people to
pursue digital infrastructure careers.

Ef昀椀cient operations
As founding signatories to the Climate
Neutral Data Centre Pact, we are committed
to achieving ambitious targets for clean
energy procurement, power ef昀椀ciency, as
well as water and waste. Powered by 100%
clean power to match our usage, Kao Data’s
facilities already provide an ef昀椀cient, resilient
environment to house mission-critical
compute systems.
